LCCC Foundation’s 4th Annual Funding Futures Event: A Night of Impact and Inspiration
On Friday, November 15, the Lorain County Community College Foundation hosted its 4th Annual Funding Futures event. This event brought together community leaders, alumni, and donors to celebrate the transformative power of education and philanthropy. The evening was filled with heartfelt stories, exciting auctions and raffles, and a shared commitment to supporting student success.
This year’s theme was “Around the World”. Guests enjoyed international-inspired cuisine and entertainment and participated in a wine pull, raffles, and mobile bidding to raise critical funds for student scholarships and academic programs.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and donors, the event grossed over $87,000, the proceeds of which will directly support students pursuing their dreams at LCCC. These funds help bridge the financial gap for many students, allowing them to focus on their studies and futures.
Special highlights of the evening included:
- Student Testimonials: Students who have benefited from scholarships shared their personal journeys, offering moving stories about how financial support has changed their lives and propelled them toward their academic and career goals.
- Auction Excitement: Attendees engaged in lively bidding wars over unique items and experiences, with all proceeds going toward the LCCC Foundation’s goal of creating access to higher education for all.
- Recognizing Excellence: The event also celebrated key supporters of the Foundation, including the Presenting Sponsor, The Reaser Family Foundation.
The overwhelming success of this event showcases the profound impact of our community’s dedication to education. Together, we are building brighter futures and stronger communities.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, or supported this event. Your contributions make a world of difference!
We look forward to seeing you next year as we continue to make higher education accessible to all.
