LCCC FAB Lab

Fab Labs were initially developed by Neil Gershenfeld of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to bring digital fabrication to the masses and simplify the process of turning an idea into a product. The recently expanded LCCC FAB Lab features easy-to-use design software linked to cutting-edge production machinery, including laser-powered cutters and etchers, table-top milling equipment, high-precision robotic routers, and even high-end printers capable of creating 3D plastic parts. Think of it as a “technological sandbox” available to LCCC students, alumni, and the public. Click here for more information on LCCC’s FAB Lab.
